Hi, I’m Emily Tonner.
This Is My Story
Born in Rensselaer and raised in Indianapolis, IN, Emily Tonner is a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, IN. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Art degree. Emily majors in Telecommunications with a concentration in Sales and Promotions. During this time, she has discovered how her passion for people can be transferred to her compassion for creation. She loves the challenge of meeting new people, and she genuinely enjoy making emotional and social connections. Everyone has a story to share, and it’s important to listen to each person we meet. She is a natural at networking. By engaging others, she opens doors for herself. She recognizes that in order to stand out one must be confident, open-minded, motivated, and enthusiastic. With her theater background, she learned the importance of being present, vulnerability, stepping out of your comfort zone, and exploring the circumstances of the character. She really enjoys to entertain, sing, perform, and be in the spotlight.
Always driven to be the best at whatever she sets her mind to, she has also made strong connections through her school business fraternity: Pi Sigma Epsilon-Epsilon Epsilon. By being involved in this type of organization, she built her potential, and was involved in projects that test her skills in Sales and Promotions. She was a project manager for a small project called “Cheese Chix”. Basically, what that entails, is a way to raise money for the fraternity by selling grilled cheese at a stand, and to bring awareness to College Students. She was also Director of Promotions where she helps create the brand, and media content.
Her future plans include pursuing a career in the Entertainment Industry. She wants to be able to tell her story through her music, her photographs, and represent brands that bring positivity, inspiration, as well as creativity.
